Imperial\n provided an additional $150,000 building on $100,000 pledged to the Red\n Cross immediately following the floods for a total of $250,000.\n ExxonMobil contributed an additional $250,000.\n\n\n\"The generosity of our workforce has been fantastic,\" said Rich Kruger,\n Imperial's chairman, president and CEO. \"I am really proud of how many\n of our employees are helping their neighbours and friends in this time\n of need.\"\n\n\n\"The impacts from this flood are devastating and will take a significant\n amount of time and resources to recover. Imperial will continue to\n support our communities as we move forward.\"\n\n\nHundreds of Imperial employees have also contributed to the relief\n effort so far by volunteering in Days of Caring with the City of\n Calgary to clean up local communities and with the Red Cross to\n distribute cleaning kits, camping equipment and emergency supplies to\n residents.\n\n\nAdditional, in-kind donations made through Imperial include:\n\n\nMore than $10,000 in Esso fuel card donations to the Canadian Red Cross\n and Siksika and Morley First Nations\n\n\n$13,000 in cleaning supplies donated to the Red Cross through Imperial\n suppliers Wallace and Carey, who also contributed an additional $5,000\n in supplies\n\n\nCleaning supplies and water from our employees and Velocity, a supplier\n at Imperial's Strathcona refinery in Edmonton; Velocity also provided\n the transportation to bring the materials to the Red Cross distribution\n centre in Calgary\n\nSOURCE: Imperial Oil Limited\n\n\n Leanne Dohy Media Relations Advisor (403) 237-2710 Follow our flood response on Twitter .
