Imperial purchases NAIT industrial building

EDMONTON, June 14 /CNW/ - Imperial Equities Inc. (TSX-VEN:IEI) today
announced it has purchased another warehouse property in Edmonton's Hudson's
Bay Reserve area. The 70,000 square foot building is situated on 3.37 acres,
encompassing a whole city block. Features include 13,000 square feet of
premium office space, natural lighting in warehouse with dock and grade
loading.
The tenant, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) has occupied
the building for the past 18 years. The building continues to serve NAIT with
offices, avionics class space, equipment maintenance and warehousing. The  
$2.4 million building was financed through existing cash flows and a new
conventional mortgage.
"Imperial was fortunate to acquire a great building in the heart of
Edmonton that will serve NAIT for many years to come. This type of property
will continue to generate income for our Company but more importantly it has
great future redevelopment potential." said Sine Chadi, President and CEO of
Imperial Equities. "Imperial continues to aggressively grow its portfolio. In
the past two months we have announced the acquisition of three buildings in
Edmonton and have invested close to 5 million dollars," added Chadi.
