(TSX: IDL),\nthe global leader in the rapidly growing market for digital radiography, today\nannounced that Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, New York has purchased\nIDC's X2200, X1590, and X1600 Plus direct digital radiography (DR) systems to\nreplace conventional film X-ray equipment in its three radiography rooms.\nSaratoga Hospital chose IDC for its ease-of-use, user-friendly interface,\ncustomer service and affordability.\n\n\nSaratoga Hospital has more than 280 physicians with a wide range of\nmedical specialties. The hospital, which is more than 100 years old, has been\npursuing digital technology to achieve efficiencies in many areas of care.\nAccording to Mildred Aviles, Director of Medical Imaging Services at Saratoga\nHospital, "Upgrading to IDC's DR systems is helping us to better meet the\nimaging needs of both our physicians and patients. We are able to provide\ninformation more quickly and accurately to a larger number of people."\n\n\nAccording to Bruce Ashby, Vice President Northeast Region, IDC, "We are\npleased to have been selected by Saratoga Hospital, which is very progressive\nin its vision and exacting in its health care standards."\n\n\nThe hospital conducted an extensive evaluation of digital radiography\nsystems prior to making its purchasing decision. "We went on several site\nvisits and talked to customers," said Aviles.
