Imaging Dynamics announces changes to Board of Directors

CALGARY, Dec. 31, 2011 /CNW/ - Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. ("IDC" or the "Company") (TSX: IDL) a global provider in the high growth digital radiography (DR) equipment market, announced today that Mr. Jerry C. Cirino, Director for IDC, will resign from the Board effective December 31, 2011.

Mr. Cirino joined the IDC Board as Chairman in June 2007 in the midst of strategic changes that were underway at IDC. During his four and a half years, Mr. Cirino led the Board and IDC through some challenging times. In September of 2011 Mr. Cirino made the decision to step down as Chairman of the Board and has now resigned from the Board effective December 31, 2011 to focus on directing the growth of his current medical device company which was recently acquired by a large publicly traded company.  The time necessary to pursue this growth strategy precludes him from expending the necessary time required of an IDC Director.

Mr. Cirino commented, "I have enjoyed my time with IDC over the last four plus years.  It has been a privilege to work with the management team and the Board during this time.  Swapan has done an extraordinary job of managing the Company through some very challenging times.  The Board and Shareholders have been fortunate to have him. I wish the Company the very best future."

Mr. Swapan Kakumanu, President and Chief Executive Officer, IDC commented, "It was a great pleasure to have worked with Jerry. His support and advice went a long way for me when working through the challenges at IDC. Jerry has always been a good advisor and mentor, his input to the Board will be missed. I wish him all the best on his new ventures."

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Cirino for his substantial and invaluable contributions to the Company as Chairman and a member of the Board. We wish him all the best in his new challenges," concluded Mr. Shameze Rampertab, IDC Board Chairman.
