CALGARY, April 9 /CNW/ - Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. (TSX: IDL) ("IDC" or the "Company") announces the resignation of Mr. John Ramsay as the Chairman of the Board as of April 9th, 2007. Mr. Erwin Schwarz will replace Mr. Ramsay as interim Chairman of the Board until a replacement is announced. Mr. Schwarz has been a member of the Board for three years. Mr. Schwarz is Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services at Oregon Health & Science University, in Portland, Oregon.
Darryl Stein, President & CEO of IDC stated, "We were very fortunate to have Mr. Ramsay on our Board since March of 2000 during the Company's development phase. His dedication, commitment and contribution to the Company's growth and the leadership that he provided to the Board are invaluable. John was instrumental in strengthening the corporate governance of IDC."
Mr. Ramsay said, "The Company has, during the term that I was Chair of the Board, moved from a Company with a pre-commercial unproven product to a Company with internationally accepted proven products meeting regulatory and ISO standards. The vision of improving health-care delivery through an affordable high quality digital x-ray system has been achieved. I leave with the feeling of pride in the Company's accomplishments and with the confidence that the challenges of an early stage technology company (my area of focus) have been met.
