(TSX: IDL), today announced that it has signed an agreement with Merge Healthcare Inc. to provide their ProPlanner(TM) software package to IDC's growing number of Orthopaedic digital radiography (DR) customers.\nUtilizing the digital X-ray image captured on the Orthopaedic facility's IDC DR solution, the Merge ProPlanner suite provides the Orthopaedic Surgeon with the speed, efficiency and ease-of-use to understand and diagnose the patient's condition, and plan corrective surgery. The ProPlanner suite also provides the ability to accurately and quickly stitch a series of radiographic images for long leg and scoliosis studies.
