(TSX: IDL),\nthe global leader in the rapidly growing market for digital radiography, today\nannounced that it has begun implementation of a contract awarded by the\nGovernment of Pakistan to install the X-Series 2200 digital radiography (DR)\nsystems in eight A-Class military hospitals. The contract was awarded by the\ngovernment and recognized by IDC in the fourth quarter of 2007. The X-Series\nuses IDC's third generation of digital X-ray technology, which provides high\nquality images using low dose and has a very low cost of ownership compared to\ntraditional film X-ray technology. This is the second contract that IDC has\nbeen awarded to provide its state-of-the-art DR systems to hospitals in\nPakistan.\n\n\nIDC works in conjunction with its regional partner Meximp Technologies\nfor delivery and ongoing service and support of this contract. According to\nSyed Nooruddin SHAH, Managing Partner of Meximp Technologies, "This award is\nthe culmination of a rigorous evaluation process at the institutional level\nand with many key opinion leaders in Pakistan.
