(TSX: IDL),\nthe global leader in digital radiography for image quality and value, today\nannounced that it was awarded a contract for its 1600 X-Series digital\nradiography system for installation in the Physical Examination Center at the\nBeijing Capital Airport Terminal 3 (T3) building. The newly completed T3\nbuilding, the largest terminal building in the world, is scheduled for opening\nin March 2008 in anticipation of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in August. The\nterminal houses the Physical Examination Center, which was built to meet the\nemergency healthcare needs of airport passengers.\n\n\n"After an intense and thorough analysis, we chose the IDC X-Series DR\nsolution because it will provide us with superior image quality, shortened\nworkflow, and the ideal features for an emergency room environment," said Mr.\nWang Jun, CEO of the Physical Examination Center. "In addition, we believe the\n1600 X-Series will provide the patient throughput we require to handle one of\nthe largest and busiest airports in the world, especially during the upcoming\nOlympic Games."\n\n\nIDC is partnering on this contract with its regional distributor Beijing\nEast Whale Image Technology Company, Ltd. The company, founded in 1998,\nprovides advanced medical equipment, service and support to healthcare\nfacilities in China.\n\n\n"During our work with IDC this past year, we have seen the effectiveness\nof the company's CCD-based DR technology," said Mr. Sean Zhu, CEO of Beijing\nEast Whale Image Technology. "We are proud that together with IDC we can be a\npart of the infrastructure for ensuring the well-being of those using the\nBeijing Capital Airport, especially during the Beijing Olympics."\n\n\nThis contract is the latest of several IDC deals, for both private and\ngovernment facilities in the Asia/Pacific Rim region, during the past three\nmonths.
