(TSX: IDL),\nthe global leader in the rapidly growing market for digital radiography (DR),\ntoday announced that HealthPartners Medical Group of Indiana and Michigan has\npurchased IDC's 1600 Plus X-Series DR system. HealthPartners is a\nmulti-specialty physician group with facilities in Michigan City, Chesterton,\nLaPorte, and Westville, Indiana and New Buffalo, Michigan. The system will be\ninstalled in the Group's new orthopaedic facility in their Michigan City\nlocation.\n\n\nHealthPartners Medical Group is comprised of more than 50 physicians\noffering adult, pediatric and specialized medical care. The practice is a\nmember of the prestigious Sisters of Saint Francis Health Services, Inc., with\nsister hospitals in Indiana and Illinois.\n\n\n"We evaluated upgrading our analog X-ray to a computed radiography\nsystem, but it quickly became clear that we could generate greater throughput\nand treat more patients with fewer staff by implementing IDC digital\nradiography," said Cheryl Stanley, Surgical Specialties Department Manager for\nHealthPartners Group. "In addition, IDC's price for DR was competitive with\nCR, making the purchase of the X-Series a good decision in regards to both\nbudget and patient care."\n\n\n"The 1600 Plus is an excellent fit for a multi-location practice with\nhigh patient volume.
