About this update from Imaging Biometrics Limited

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\nIQ-AI Ltd\n(\"IQ-AI\" or the \"Company\")\n\nIQ-AI Announces Positive Interim Phase 1 Results\nOn-going trial to study the safety of oral gallium maltolate in relapsed GBM patients\n·    All three planned dose levels tested to date continue to exhibit favorable safety and tolerability\n·    Patients report no adverse effects, side effects, or symptoms\n·    An amendment to the study protocol is approved for dose escalation\nImaging Biometrics, LLC (IB), a wholly owned subsidiary of IQ-AI Ltd (LSE: IQAI), is pleased to update shareholders with additional positive details on the on-going study of oral gallium maltolate, an investigational monotherapy for the treatment of recurrent/refractory glioblastoma (GBM). These preliminary results were recently presented by the study PI, Dr. Jennifer Connelly, MD, at the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) 28th Annual Meeting held November 15-19 in Vancouver.\nSeventeen patients have met the eligibility criteria and have enrolled in the phase 1 component of the study. As of 30 November 2023, of the fourteen patients evaluable for treatment with oral GaM, three patients have achieved a median progression-free survival (PFS) of greater than 180 days, with 1 patient on treatment for greater than one year. This compares favorably with the 1.5 to 6-month range historically reported for progression-free survival in this population of relapsed GBM.\nPatients enrolled in the study have all received prior treatments with some experiencing multiple episodes of cancer recurrence. Historically, following GBM recurrence, patients have a median overall survival (OS) of 2-9 months.\n\"We are encouraged by the favorable safety and tolerability profile at all dose levels,\" said Dr. Christopher Chitambar, MD, Chair of the study. \"Other pre-clinical studies have been conducted that demonstrate that oral gallium maltolate may prove to be a viable treatment alternative across multiple solid tumors as well.\"\n\"This is an encouraging update and I am pleased with the steady progress being made by the team\" said Trevor Brown, CEO of IQ-AI.\n--ENDS-\n \nThe Directors of the Company accept responsibility for the contents of this announcement.\n \nFor further information, please contact:\n \n\n\n\n\nIQ-AI Ltd\nTrevor Brown/Vinod Kaushal/Brett Skelly/Mich...
