[{"type":"text","content":"\n Company Image Scan Holdings PLC\nTIDM IGE\nCategory New orders\nReleased 8 August 2006\nReference New Orders BNG\n\n\nImage Scan Holdings plc Wins £1m Order from British Nuclear Group\n\nImage Scan Holdings plc (Image Scan) is pleased to announce the signing of a major contract with British Nuclear Group\nLtd (BNG) for in-line x-ray inspection systems to enhance BNG's current manufacturing inspection capability, due for\ncompletion by May 2008. The contract provides for a number of milestones such that £0.6m of the total £1m revenue will\nfall in the financial year 2007. This follows last month's announcement of orders for the Company's MDXi industrial\ninspection systems which were valued in excess of £0.7m.\n\nThis order incorporates a combination of the Company's advanced X-Line and bespoke x-ray camera systems to meet the\ndemanding challenges of BNG's quality assurance requirements. Representing a significant broadening of the Company's\nindustrial client base, this new contract was awarded to Image Scan following an extensive international competitive\ntendering process.\n\nNicholas Fox, CEO of Image Scan Holdings plc commented:\n\"Having started the year off with an order book of £0.3m we are delighted to see that only 10 months later our order\nbook stands at almost £2m.
