[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 8791H Image Scan Holdings PLC 06 June 2011 \n\n 6 June 2011\nImage Scan Holdings plc\n(\"Image Scan\" or \"the Company\")\n \nNew Orders\n \nThe Board of Image Scan, specialists in the field of real-time 3D and 2D x-ray imaging for the 'Homeland Security' and 'Industrial Inspection' markets, is pleased to announce recent new contracts totaling £405,000.\n \nSince the release of the interim results on 17 May 2011, the Company has received orders for 21 FlatScan portable x-ray screening systems. These orders include the sale of 9 units to a new customer in the Middle East and represents the largest multiple unit sale of the FlatScan systems by the Company to an individual customer. In addition the Company has sold its first mailroom cabinet systems, also into the Middle East.\n \nWith four months of trading remaining before the end of the financial year known contracted sales expected to be deliverable in the year ending 30 September 2011 now stand at £1.9m, compared to full year revenue of £1.5m for FY2010.\n \nImage Scan's CEO, Louise George, commented \"These recent order wins continue to give the Board confidence that the strategy adopted over the last two years of building a sales team selling standard security equipment whilst pursuing high value industrial opportunities, is likely to provide a stable platform from which the Company can develop its product range further and deliver sales growth.\"\n \n \n-ENDS-\n \nFor further information, please contact:\n \nImage Scan Holdings plc &nbs...
