Seniors from the\n \n Winnipeg\n \n region joined representatives from the Manitoba Securities Commission, Indigenous organizations, CFEE and IG.\n \n \n \n \n Money and You: Seniors Edition\n \n \n was developed based on IG's extensive experience working with clients who are approaching or are in retirement and CFEE's direct engagement over the years with seniors at hundreds of workshops. The resource, available in English and French, can be read, downloaded, or printed.\n \n \n In June, CFEE and IG conducted a soft launch of the program in\n \n Ottawa\n \n to get feedback and suggestions from seniors in the region about the website and its supporting workshops. This national launch incorporates the feedback received from older adults from over 100 workshops, close to 5,000 site users and approximately 50,000 site visits.\n \n \n This iteration of the resource, organized in a series of easy-to-follow modules, deals with a variety of personal finance topics tailored to seniors, including but not limited to government pension sources, budgeting and borrowing money, retirement income planning, travel, death of a spouse or parent and planning for cognitive impairment.\n \...
