Dr. Horne will be charged with managing and directing all engineering activities at Spectrum Velocity in wireless infrastructure solutions including distributive antenna systems (DAS), Small Cells and Wi-Fi. In addition to in-building wireless solutions for enterprise and operators, Horne leads all RF engineering projects including RF Safety and FCC compliance as well as test and measurement activities. In addition, Dr. Horne will develop strategies for creating new business opportunities in the wireless industry.\n\n\tDr. Horne has over twenty years' experience in management and engineering of wireless networks and devices including LTE, cellular system designs and optimization as well as handset development. He has held several management positions where he was responsible for network design, planning and performance. Dr. Horne has performed numerous interference studies on wireless facilities within the transportation, telecommunications and medical industries. Horne provides system design for LTE networks, Multi-point Distribution Systems (MDS) and technical support and systems expertise including frequency coordination as well as point-to-point microwave studies. He has testified in numerous hearings on permit applications and radio frequency hazards and interference issues and developed and managed RF safety programs.
