(“HWH”) (Nasdaq: HWH) announced today that it has entered into a joint venture through its subsidiary Health Wealth Happiness Pte Ltd. (“HWHPL”), with Mr. Chen Ziping (“Mr. Chen”), an experienced entrepreneur in the travel industry, and Mr. Chan Heng Fai Ambrose, HWH’s Executive Chairman (“Mr. Chan”). This new joint venture is part of HWH’s strategy of building its travel business in Asia. The joint venture company (referred to here as the “JVC”) will be known as HapiTravel Holding Pte. Ltd. The JVC will be initially owned as follows: (a) HWHPL will hold 19% of the shares in the JVC; (b) Mr. Chan will hold 11%; and (c) the remaining 70% of the shares in the JVC are to be held by Mr. Chen. By forging strategic alliances, the JVC will aim to expand its market presence, tapping into new geographical regions and niche hospitality segments.
