The material\nfalls between grade Aerosil 150 and Aerosil 200 when compared under\nTransmission Electron Microscopy.\n \n \n The company has generated nearly one kilogram of Fumed Silica\npowder, which will allow HPQ Polvere to send samples to interested\nthird parties for testing.\n \n \n Based on the testing data to date,\nusing the proprietary Fumed Silica Reactor, HPQ Silica Polvere is\nconfident that it will be able to produce high-purity Fumed Silica\ncommercially at a cost of less than US$2.00 per kilogram. This cost is\nlower than conventional processes, making HPQ Silicon's approach\nhighly competitive in the market.
