(\"HLS\" or the \"Company\") (TSX: HLS), a pharmaceutical company focusing on central nervous system and cardiovascular markets, announces that it has successfully entered into Product Listing Agreements (\"PLA\") with\n \n New Brunswick\n \n ,\n \n Northwest Territories\n \n and the NIHB, for the listing and public reimbursement of Vascepa (icosapent ethyl) on their respective Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plans. All three PLAs are now in effect.\n \n \n Under the terms of the respective PLAs, Vascepa will be reimbursed for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular events (cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, non-fatal stroke, coronary revascularization or hospitalization for unstable angina) in statin-treated patients with established cardiovascular disease and elevated triglycerides.\n \n \n \"We are pleased to build on our agreement with the province of\n \n Quebec\n \n to add three additional public listings as we work to bring Vascepa to Canadians who are battling cardiovascular disease, the number one killer worldwide,\" said\n \n Gilbert Godin\n \n , CEO of HLS. \"We continue to work with other provinces and territories to secure coverage for Vascepa from their publicly funded drug plans and will provide further updates on our progress as they occur.\"\n \n \n As disclosed previously, HLS achieved public reimbursement and a PLA in the province of\n \n Quebec\n \n in\n \n May 2022\n \n and has reimbursement coverage for more than 90% of privately covered lives in\...
