[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 8116S\n Hiscox Ltd\n 18 November 2021\n \n \n \n \n Hiscox announces Liz Breeze as interim Group Chief Financial Officer\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Hamilton, Bermuda (18 November, 2021) \n \n - Hiscox Ltd (LSE:HSX), the specialist global insurer today announces that Liz Breeze will be appointed interim Group Chief Financial Officer, subject to regulatory approval, while the search for a permanent Group Chief Financial Officer is conducted.\n \n \n Liz joined Hiscox in 2012 and has held a number of senior finance roles across the Group, including Group Technical Accountant, Head of Finance for Hiscox UK, and most recently Chief Financial Officer for Hiscox Re & ILS. As part of the Hiscox Re & ILS leadership team, Liz has driven significant improvements in both financial systems and capital efficiency. Liz is a chartered accountant, having trained with KPMG, and previously worked as part of their insurance practice in London and Bermuda.\n \n \n In her new role, Liz will work closely with Aki Hussain, Group Chief Financial Officer and CEO designate, and take on the Group Chief Financial Officer duties from 1 January 2022. She will be based in London and join the Group Executive Committee.\n \n \n Aki said: \"Liz has a deep understanding of our business, having spent time in both our big-ticket and retail operations. She has also been an important participant in our work to embed structural finance change as part of our multi-year finance transformation programme.
