[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 9429I Hilton Food Group PLC 22 March 2010 \n \n\n \n \n \n \nHILTON FOOD GROUP PLC\n \nDIRECTORATE\n \nHilton Food Group plc (\"Hilton\") is pleased to announce that the Board has today appointed Sir David Naish as Chairman of the Board following the untimely death of Gordon Summerfield. \n \nSir David has been a Non-Executive Director at Hilton since 2007 and he brings a lifetime of experience in the food and agriculture industry. In addition to his family farming business Sir David was President of the National Farmers Union between 1991 and 1998. He was subsequently appointed Non-Executive Director at Express Dairies, becoming Chairman in 2002 and overseeing its merger with Arla Foods in 2003. Sir David continued as Chairman of Arla Foods UK plc until 2007 when the Arla Danish parent company acquired the remaining shareholding. He was knighted in 1994 for services to agriculture.\n \nSir David also succeeds Gordon as Chairman of the Nominations Committee.
