(CSE:HSLV)\n \n \n (the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n ” or\n“\n \n \n Highlander\nSilver\n \n \n ”) announces that following a strategic\nreview process, in order to focus the Company´s resources on the\nhighest quality assets, it has terminated its option to acquire a 100%\ninterest in the Politunche project. In accordance with the Option\nAgreement, the Company has given notice for termination of the Option\nAgreement which will be effective immediately. The terms of the Option\nAgreement were announced in the Company’s news release dated January\n19th, 2022.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n In addition, the company will reduce its property\nholdings at the Alta Victoria project from 6,476 Hectares to 3,215\nHectares, retaining the most prospective areas including the Santa\nTeresita and Pachas targets (see news release December 28\n \n \n th\n \n \n , 2022) and a\nsignificant buffer zone for future development around them.  This\nfollows a review and ranking of targets across the entire land\npackage, resulting in the decision to relinquish the Ninarupa prospect\n(see news release dated May 13, 2022), so Ninarupa is not included in\nthe property that Highlander is retaining.\n \n \n \n \n The Company continues work at its La Estrella flagship\nasset. On July 11, 2023 Highlander Silver announced\n \n \n the development of 3D geological models of the Ag-Au\nmineralization using the available drilling information and\ninterpreted geological controls. Potential extensions to the\nmineralized envelopes were used to outline a near surface exploration\ntarget of 15 to 35 Mt averaging between 50 and 60 g/t Ag, and 0.4 to\n0.6 g/t Au containing some 25 to 60 MOz Ag and 0.2 to 0.7 MOz\nAu.\n \n \n \n \n The potential quantity and grade of the exploration\ntarget is conceptual in nature, and more exploration is required to\ndefine a mineral resource. Important aspects such as metallurgical\nprocessing options need to be investigated to evaluate potential\nrecoveries of Ag and Au.
