[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n/NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN\n THE UNITED STATES.  ANY FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS RESTRICTION MAY\n CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF U.S. SECURITIES LAW/\n\n\nRED DEER, AB, Nov. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - High Arctic Energy Services Inc.\n (TSX: HWO) (\"High Arctic\" or the \"Company\") announces that Mr. Bruce\n Thiessen is retiring as Chief Executive Officer, and will no longer be\n on High Arctic's Board of Directors.  The Board is pleased that Bruce\n has agreed to remain with High Arctic on an indefinite consulting basis\n to provide executive marketing support for the Canadian operation.\n\n\nMr. Michael Binnion, Chairman of High Arctic's Board of Directors,\n commented; \"We are very appreciative of all that Bruce has done for\n High Arctic during his 20 year career with us.  He has been\n instrumental in building the Canadian business and taking on the\n challenges of the CEO role over the past five years and I am delighted\n that he will continue to play a role.  High Arctic has an excellent\n management team in place to continue to grow and build its business\n both in Canada and in Papua New Guinea.\"\n\n\nDennis Sykora will assume the role of interim Chief Executive Officer\n while High Arctic searches for a permanent CEO.  As well as being a\n member of the Board of Directors, Dennis has served in various\n executive capacities with High Arctic since April 2007, most recently\n as Executive Vice President.  The Governance and Nominating Committee\n will oversee the selection of a permanent CEO.\n\n\nThe Executive Committee will be responsible for the development and\n execution of the strategic direction of the Company.
