[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 6891S\n Boot(Henry) PLC\n 18 November 2021\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n 18 November 2021\n \n \n \n \n \n HENRY BOOT PLC\n ('Henry Boot' or 'the Group')\n \n \n Henry Boot secures significant urban development in York\n \n \n \n \n \n Henry Boot has secured a £47m urban development scheme, The Cocoa Works, in the city centre of York. \n \n \n \n \n \n The Group's construction business, Henry Boot Construction, has been selected as the contractor to refurbish York's historical Rowntree Factory into 279 high-quality, characterful apartments, which is being delivered by Latimer, the development arm of Clarion Housing Group. \n \n \n \n \n \n The Cocoa Works will \n comprise seven studios, 111 one-bedroom apartments, 146 two-bedroom apartments and 15 three-bedroom apartments, of which 84 will be available for shared ownership providing a wide range of options for potential buyers. The works, which will also deliver extensive community space, \n commenced last month, with a target completion date of Q4 2023.\n \n \n \n \n \n Henry Boot Construction's order book for 2022 is now 100% secured, as the Group continues to grow its opportunity pipeline within its three focused markets: industrial and logistics, residential, and \n \n \n urban development. \n \n \n \n \n \n Tony Shaw, Managing Director of Henry Boot Construction, said: \"We are thrilled to add this development to our growing portfolio of major urban development schemes.
