[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nHIAWATHA, KS, Sept. 16, 2013 /CNW/ - (TSX: AJX) -- AgJunction, a leading provider of innovative hardware and software\n solutions for precision agriculture, announced today a series of\n software enhancements for its flagship terminal, the Outback MAX.\n\n\n\"Our latest MAX software improves machine to cloud connectivity by\n synchronizing client, farm, field, boundaries, field markers, guidance\n lines and product data directly between the terminal and AgJunction\n Cloud Services,\" said John Lueger, Director of Product Management at\n AgJunction.\n\n\nIn addition to wireless connectivity, in-cab data management, and an\n easy-to-navigate control interface, this year's Outback MAX integrated\n display terminal adds ISOBUS virtual terminal capability for common\n implement ECUs, enabling a broader range of implement communication and\n control.\n\n\n\"We continue to see growing interest among producers and ag-service\n providers for compatibility with different brands of implements,\" added\n Mr. Lueger. \"Providing ISO virtual terminal capability with Outback MAX\n is important for enabling compatibility.\"\n\n\nMAX owners are able to utilize ISO virtual terminal capability after\n simply downloading the software from the web, and requesting an\n authorization code from Outback customer support.\n\n\nAlso new for fall 2013 is an enhanced variable rate control feature for\n dry fertilizer applications. Coupled with the Outback AC110 controller,\n users can benefit from the advanced mapping engine in the MAX terminal\n to stack imagery and data layers to visually confirm and log field\n work.\n\n\nApplication kits from AgJunction work with most existing spreader boxes\n on the market.\n\n\nThe Company is also releasing several new features to its eDriveX™\n Autosteer System including compatibility with John Deere® R-Series\n tractors, automated eTurn recognition of field boundaries and\n headlands, advanced autosteer engagement options, and the ability to\n generate A-B contour guidance lines.\n\n\nCapable of centimeter-level control and automatic turning at the end of\n each row, eDriveX users benefit from high accuracy and reduced driver\n fatigue across multiple field applications.\n\n\nExisting eDriveX users can upgrade capabilities without having to buy\n and install a completely new system.
