[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 5540G Mountfield Group plc 07 June 2013 \n \n\nMountfield Group Plc (the \"Group\")\n \nContract Wins\n \n \nData Centre Contract Win\n \nThe Directors are pleased to announce that the Group subsidiary, Mountfield Building Group Limited (\"MBG\") has been instructed by a leading UK main contractor to undertake enabling works on site of a new data centre for Cambridge University where a 10,000 sq. ft. data centre facility is due to be constructed during the course of this year.\n \nConstruction Contract Wins\n \nThe Directors are also pleased to announce a series of further construction contract wins for MBG.\n \nA leading UK main contractor has instructed MBG to undertake construction works to a value of circa £1m on the first part of the substantial long-term refurbishment and fit out project at Aldwych London. \n \nAnother of MBG's traditional clients, an international telecommunications company for whom it undertakes work on its data centres and property portfolio has instructed building fabric repair works on several buildings with a value of £275,000. \n \nFinally, MBG has also won a contract to design and fit out in Enfield a gym for a franchisee of Anytime Fitness, a US controlled, international chain of fitness centres that now intends to build a chain of franchised units in the UK. \n \nIn the Trading Update dated 4 April 2013 the Directors announced that they expected to release the Group's results for the year to 31 December 2012 during the first half of May 2013; however they now expect to release those accounts around 19th June 2013. \n \nGraham Read, Chief Executive Officer, commented: \n \n\"We are very pleased to have won this initial data centre contract and hope to be working with the contractor as this exciting project develops as it falls within the Group's core expertise and it is within the area in which it has built its reputation for excellence.\"\n \n\"Whilst our specialist data centre division remains very active and with tenders being prepared for a number of upcoming data centres our construction division remains equally busy as is evidenced by these contract wins.
