(TSX, FSE: "HBP")\nhas filed a Form 20-F Registration Statement with the United States Securities\nand Exchange Commission, to register its common shares with the SEC.\n\n\n\n\n\nA Form 20-F, once declared effective by the SEC, allows certain foreign\ncorporations to register securities with the SEC pursuant to Section 12(g) of\nthe Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. The Company's Form 20-F is a\nfull registration of the Company's common shares with the SEC as a foreign\nprivate issuer similar to a Form 10 filing for a domestic issuer in the United\nStates. The Company's registration of its shares in the United States would\nallow its shares to be solicited and traded by licensed brokers in the United\nStates in compliance with SEC regulations and blue sky requirements in various\nstates in the United States.\n\n\n\n\n\n"Today's filing is a significant step for the Company toward our goal to\nenter larger capital markets," said John Docherty, president of Helix\nBioPharma.
