[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n13 February 2025\nHELICAL PLC\n(\"Helical\" or the \"Group\")\n​\nJAMES MOSS TO SUCCEED TIM MURPHY AS CFO OF HELICAL\n\n \nHelical, a central London development focused real estate business, announces that James Moss, Chief Operating Officer and Group Company Secretary, will succeed Tim Murphy as Chief Financial Officer (\"CFO\") of the Group at this year's Annual General Meeting (\"AGM\") which will be held in July. Tim has informed the Board of Directors (\"Board\") that, after thirty one years with the Group, he will be handing over his executive duties and stepping down from the Board at the 2025 AGM.\n \nJames, a qualified Chartered Accountant, joined Helical in September 2014 as Group Financial Controller. He was appointed Company Secretary in May 2015 and became a member of the Executive Committee in March 2018. He was subsequently appointed Chief Operating Officer in May 2022. James was previously at Grant Thornton, where he was responsible for leading audit and other assurance assignments in their real estate division. James will be joining the Board as CFO Designate with effect from 1 April 2025, and will continue to work closely with Tim over the coming months until he steps down in July, ensuring a smooth transition into the role of CFO.\n \nRichard Cotton, Chairman of Helical, said: \"On behalf of the Board, I wish to thank Tim for his dedication and significant contribution to Helical during his 31 years with the Company, and particularly his 13 year term as CFO.
