[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 5809U\n Helical PLC\n 07 April 2021\n \n \n \n \n 7 April 2021\n \n \n \n HELICAL PLC \n \n \n \n \n \n (\"Helical\" or the \"Company\")\n \n \n \n \n \n Business & Trading Update for the Period Since 1 October 2020\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Helical today \n provides a business and trading update for the period 1 October 2020\n to \n 31 March 2021\n (\"the Period\")\n . \n \n \n \n \n \n Commenting on the Company's activities, Gerald Kaye, Chief Executive, said:\n \n \n \n \n \n \"There appears to be a growing sense of optimism that the easing of the current restrictions by the Government will continue as scheduled and that,over the next few months, businessesof all types will resume operationsin line with the \"roadmap\" that has been outlined. It is to be hoped that there are no setbacks on this return to normality.\n \n \n \n \n \n \"As part of this we expect to seethe increasing reoccupation of all our buildings by our tenants, supported and supplied by the many local businesses that rely on this for their custom.\n \n \n \n \n \n \"In the meantime, the quality and appeal of the buildings in our portfolio has been reconfirmed by the letting of space at rents above ERV and the high rent collection achieved throughout the last year. We were especially encouraged to agree a lease for the whole ofKaleidoscope, EC1, the latest demonstration of our ability to develop \n sustainable, technology\n enabled\n and service led buildings\n \n that offer excellent connectivity\n \n \n and are aligned with the latest ways of working.\" \n \n \n \n \n \n Operational Performance\n \n \n \n \n \n Rent collection\n \n \n \n \n \n - \n We have collected 82.8% of the March 2021 quarter rents due to date and anticipate, through further cash receipts from agreed payment plans, to have collected between 91% and 95% by the end of June 2021.\n \n \n \n \n \n - \n We have now collected 92.9% of all rent contracted and payable for the March, June, September and December 2020 quarters. Of the balance, we have granted rent holidays on 4.9%, mainly to our F&B tenants, leaving 2.2% which is subject to ongoing discussions with tenants. \n \n \n \n \n \n Lettings\n \n \n \n \n \n - \n At Kaleidoscope, EC1...
