(\"\n \n Health Logic\n \n \" or the \"\n \n Company\n \n \") (\n \n TSX.V: CHIP.H\n \n ), is pleased to announce its wholly owned operating subsidiary,\n \n My Health Logic\n \n \n Inc.\n \n (\"\n \n My Health Logic\n \n \"), has entered into a license agreement (the \"\n \n License Agreement\n \n \") with an arm's length third party (the \"\n \n Licensor\n \n \") pursuant to which My Health Logic has a worldwide, exclusive license to the UAL-Chip, a patent pending lab-on-chip (\"\n \n LOC\n \n \") technology that has the potential to be used in a smartphone connected, hand-held device to provide rapid point-of-care (\"\n \n POC\n \n \") diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease (\"\n \n CKD\n \n \").\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n CKD is a life-changing chronic condition that is harmful for patients and extremely expensive to treat unless caught early. Over 850 million people globally and 37 million people in\n \n the United States\n \n have CKD, and total healthcare costs for treatment of CKD in the US exceed\n \n $120B\n \n per year. The key to preventing the major harms from CKD, such as kidney failure, kidney dialysis, and death,\n \n is early testing and treatment\n \n ; however, approximately 90% of those afflicted by CKD do not realize they have it.
