(CSE:HWG) (OTC:HWAUF) (the\n\"Company\" or \"Headwater\") is\n \n \n pleased\n \n \n to\n \n \n announce the completion of its\n \n \n 2023\ndrilling programs.\n \n \n Drilling at Spring Peak,\nMidas North and Mahogany was fully funded\n \n \n by\nNewmont Corporation (“Newmont”)\n \n \n (NYSE: NEM)\n \n \n pursuant to the earn-in agreements announced on\nAugust 16, 2022.\n \n \n \n \n Highlights:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Spring Peak\n \n \n – Twenty-five drill\nholes were completed in the 2023 drill campaign totaling 8,475 metres\n(“m”);\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Initial drill results extend Disco Zone mineralization\nto the northeast and southwest over a strike extent of at least 350 m,\nand to a depth of greater than 300 m below surface.  Mineralization\nremains open in both directions and at depth;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drill hole SP23-28 intercepted 25.54 m grading 1.75 g/t\nAu including 8.04 g/t Au over 1.19 m and 5.35 g/t Au over 2.59\nm;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drill hole SP23-33 intercepted 37.01 m grading 1.28 g/t\nAu including 6.53 g/t Au over 1.68 m and 6.27 g/t Au over 1.19\nm;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n A step out drill hole (SP23-37) has been completed\napproximately 400 m northeast along strike of the main Disco Zone.\n This hole encountered multiple epithermal veins in the target zone.\nAssays are pending for this hole as well as 11 additional holes from\nthe 2023 program.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Midas North\n \n \n – Nine drill holes\nwere completed totaling 4,202 m at Midas North, testing six target\nareas.  Epithermal veining and alteration were encountered in\nmultiple target areas across the property.  Assays are\npending;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Mahogany\n \n \n – Five drill holes were\ncompleted totaling 1,524 m at Mahogany, testing two target areas.  No\nsignificant precious metal intercepts were encountered.  The Company\ncontinues to review the data in consultation with earn-in partner\nNewmont to determine if additional t...
