(CSE:HWG) (OTC:HWAUF) (the\n\"Company\" or \"Headwater\") is\n \n \n pleased to announce the commencement of drilling at the 100%\nowned Katey project.  The program is designed to follow-up on\nHeadwater’s previous discovery of high-grade epithermal\nmineralization in an interpreted feeder structure at the West Zone\n(see Headwater news release dated February 10, 2022).\n \n \n \n \n Highlights:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drilling has commenced on multiple high-priority\ntargets focused on exploring the extensions of the high-grade\nmineralized structure encountered in drill hole KT21-01 (\n \n \n 6.34 grams per tonne gold (“g/t Au”) over 14.54 metres,\nincluding 30.73 g/t Au over 1.95 metres);\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Approximately 3,500 m of drilling is planned, utilizing\ntwo drill rigs and a combination of reverse circulation (“RC”) and\ncore drilling, over approximately 10 to 12 holes;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Katey is one of three currently active drill programs\nin the Headwater portfolio, with five drill rigs now deployed in the\nwestern USA;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n The goals of the drill program are to:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Further explore the area of high-grade epithermal\nmineralization discovered in Headwater’s 2021 drilling at the West\nZone;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Test the depth extent of high-grade mineralization down\ndip from Headwater drill hole KT21-01;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Systematically test an approximately 600 m strike\nsegment of the West Zone Fault; and,\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drill several follow-up scout holes below soil\nanomalies along the projection of the West Zone fault to the north and\nsouth (see Headwater New Release dated March 2, 2023).\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Caleb Stroup, the President and CEO of the Company,\nstates:\n \n \n “The entire\nHeadwater team is very excited to kick off our highest priority\nself-funded exploration initiative for 2023 at the 100% owned and\nroyalty free Katey project.  Company-wide, Headwater now has five\ndrill rigs deployed ac...
