(CSE:HWG) (OTC:HWAUF) (the\n\"Company\" or \"Headwater\") is\n \n \n pleased to announce it has defined multiple high-priority\ndrill targets to extend high-grade mineralization encountered in\nprevious core drilling by the Company at its 100% owned Katey gold\nproject located in southeast Oregon.\n \n \n \n \n Highlights:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Headwater has defined multiple high-priority drill\ntargets that focus on extending the high-grade mineralized structure\nencountered in drill hole KT21-01 (see news release dated February 10,\n2022) to the north and south along strike, as well as down\ndip;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Metallic-screen assays from the previously reported\nhigh-grade intercept in drill hole KT21-01 returned 6.34 grams per\ntonne gold (“g/t Au”) over 14.54 metres, including 30.73 g/t Au\nover 1.95 metres.  Metallic-screen assays show approximately 30%\nhigher grade than original values and indicate the presence of coarse\nfree gold;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A mixed diamond core and reverse circulation (“RC”)\ndrill program consisting of approximately 3,500 metres is fully\npermitted and scheduled to commence in early summer 2023;\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Deep auger soil sampling has defined an area of highly\nanomalous gold, silver and epithermal pathfinder geochemistry over an\napproximately 1 kilometre zone along the projection of the West Zone\nFault which hosts the high-grade gold intercepted in drill hole\nKT21-01; and\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Channel samples collected at surface across the main\nWest Zone Fault returned 13.26 g/t Au and 45.2 grams per tonne silver\n(“g/t Ag”) over 0.69 m, demonstrating up-dip continuity of the\nmain mineralized structure intercepted in drill hole KT21-01.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Caleb Stroup, the President and CEO of the Company,\nstates:\n \n \n “Following the\ncompletion of our recent financing, we are very excited to get back\nout to Katey to follow up on the high-grade discovery made in our\nfirst drillhole completed on ...
