[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n Haydale Graphene Industries plc \n\n (\"Haydale\", the \"Group\" or the \"Company\") \n\n Audited Preliminary Results For The Year Ended 30 June 2014 \n\nHaydale Graphene Industries plc (AIM:HAYD), the Company focused on enabling\ntechnology for the commercialisation of graphene, is pleased to announce its\npreliminary audited results for the year ended 30 June 2014.\n\nOperational Highlights (pre and post year-end):\n\n * Haydale's functionalised materials independently proven to double epoxy\n composite stiffness and strength - opening up the global composite market;\n \n * Ink and coatings collaboration partner secured offering fast prototyping\n and accelerated product development in barrier coatings, transparent\n conductive films and 3D printing;\n \n * Global sales reach achieved with marketing and distribution agreements;\n \n * Scale up of plasma functionalisation process on track with successful\n commissioning of second generation reactor with 2 similar reactors and one\n larger unit on order; and\n \n * Positive third party verification of plasma functionalisation process\n through The National Physical Laboratory.\n \nFinancial Highlights:\n\n * Raised £6.6 million of new equity funds on admission to AIM in April 2014\n which, together with £1.8 million of pre-IPO funds, delivered £8.4 million\n to the Group;\n \n * £425,000 of grant funded projects secured since IPO;\n \n * Loss after tax for the year £2.1 million (2013: £1.0 million);\n \n * Loss per share £0.28 (2013: £0.18); and\n \n * Net Cash £5.7 million (2013: £0.05 million) at year end.\n \nRay Gibbs, CEO at Haydale, commented:\n\n\"The last year has been extremely busy both internally on operational\ncapability and in our global marketing effort.
