[{"type":"text","content":"\n UK Coal PLC\n10 October 2007\n\n10th October, 2007\n\n\n UK COAL PLC ('UK COAL')\n\n NEW FIVE YEAR COAL SUPPLY CONTRACT AGREED WITH E.ON\n\n\nUK COAL, the UK's largest producer of coal and the developer of one of Britain's\nlargest brownfield property estates, today announces it has agreed terms for the\nsupply of almost six million tonnes of coal to electricity and power generator\nE.ON over the next five years.\n\n\n\nE.ON is a long standing, core customer of UK COAL. About 75 per cent of the coal\nwill be supplied from UK COAL's Daw Mill Colliery in the West Midlands, with the\nremainder being supplied from surface mine sites in Leicestershire and\nDerbyshire.
