[{"type":"text","content":"\n UK Coal PLC\n13 December 2006\n\n\n\n UK COAL PLC\n\n\n• Planning permission granted for 60 acre Waverley business park\n\n• Planning application being made for Prince of Wales, Pontefract development\n\nLondon, December 13, 2006: UK COAL PLC ('UK COAL') today announces that\nplanning permission has been granted for its proposed 60 acre business park at\nWaverley, South Yorkshire, by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. The\nbusiness park will comprise some 650,000 sq feet (60,000 sq metres) of mixed\nBusiness, General Industrial, Storage and Distribution, Hotel and Ancillary\nLeisure and Retail space.\n\nUK COAL today also announces that it has held substantial pre-application\nnegotiations with Wakefield Metropolitan Borough Council and that, next week, it\nwill be submitting to the Authority the Planning Application for the\nredevelopment of its Prince of Wales site at Pontefract in West Yorkshire. The\nApplication will contain proposals for developing over 900 homes and some\n250,000 sq ft of employment space and community facilities.
