Ruth Cooke's appointment will take effect on 19th March 2019. Angela Bromfield's appointment will take effect on 1st April 2019.\n \nRuth Cooke will join the Audit Committee and Angela Bromfield will join the Remuneration and Audit Committees, in each case with effect from the date of their respective appointments. Steven Underwood will cease to be a member of the Remuneration and Audit Committees with effect from 1st April 2019.\n \nRuth Cooke was Finance Director (from 2008 to 2012) and then Chief Executive (from 2012 to 2018) of Midland Heart, the housing association group operating across central England. Prior to that, she held senior finance and resourcing roles at Knightstone, a housing association based in the South West, and Anchor Trust, a provider of housing and care to those aged 55 years old and above. She has held a number of voluntary and non-executive positions in the social housing and retirement community sector. She is Chair of Connexus Housing and a member of West Midlands Housing Association Partnership.
