He will assume the Chairmanship when Bob Ayling retires on 1 May 2009.\nMr. Coleman, 56, was Chief Executive of House of Fraser plc until 2006. He is currently non-executive chairman of Aga Rangemaster Group plc and a non-executive director of Travis Perkins plc. \n\nCarl Michel, Group Chief Executive, said: \n\"We are delighted that John has joined Holidaybreak. He has spent the bulk of his career in consumer facing businesses where the emphasis has been on quality and customer service. With his excellent corporate track record and strong reputation in the City, he will be an invaluable addition to the Board.\"\n\"At the same time, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Bob Ayling for all he has contributed as Chairman over the last six years. Personally, as Chief Executive, I have found his advice, support and direction invaluable. On behalf of everyone at Holidaybreak, I would like to wish him well in all his future endeavours.\"\n\nJohn Coleman said: \n\"Joining Holidaybreak is an exciting opportunity.
