(\"Hanwa\") is pleased to announce that it has endorsed the recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD*¹) , joined the \"TNFD Forum\"*2and registered as a \"TNFD Adopter\"*3in July 2025.\n \n \n As stated in Hanwa's Environmental Policy and Sustainability Basic Policy, it recognizes that consideration for the natural environment - including the effective use of resources and the mitigation of environmental impacts - is essential to realizing sustainable development.\n \n \n In alignment with the TNFD recommendations, Hanwa will evaluate its dependence on and impact on natural capital, and appropriately disclose and analyze the information.\n \n \n Hanwa's Initiatives for Environmental Issues https://www.hanwa.co.jp/csr/environment/\n ＊1 TNFD（Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures）： Established in June 2021, the TNFD aims to provide a framework\n for managing and disclosing nature-related risks. In September 2023, it released its final recommendations (v1.0), which offer guidance for companies and financial institutions to identify, assess, manage, and disclose nature-related issues.\n \n \n \n ＊2 TNFD Forum：A network composed of companies, government agencies, academic institutions, and other organizations with specialized expertise, established to support the activities of TNFD by providing insights, knowledge, and technical assistance.\n ＊3 TNFD Adopter：A business or organization that has published a statement indicating that it will disclose information in line with the TNFD recommendations.\n For further information, please contact: Hanwa Co., Ltd.
