[{"type":"text","content":"\n Hansard Global plc\n30 October 2007\n\n\n Hansard Global PLC\n \n ('Hansard' or the 'Company')\n \n Company Announcement\n\nHansard Global plc, the specialist long-term savings provider based in the Isle \nof Man, received notice on Tuesday 30 October 2007 from Polar Cap Limited \n('Polar Cap'), a significant shareholder in Hansard that, in accordance with the \nplanned reorganisation of Polar Cap, a further stage in the solvent liquidation \nof Polar Cap had been completed.\n\nAs set out in the Company's prospectus dated 13 December 2006, the directors of\nPolar Cap adopted a plan of liquidation with a view to making a series of \nliquidating distributions and effecting a members' voluntary solvent \nliquidation. Pursuant to this plan Polar Cap would distribute its assets \nincluding its remaining holding in the Company, in-specie to its shareholders, \nincluding Dr Leonard Polonsky, Hansard's Executive Chairman.\n\nAn interim stage of this process took place on 11 May 2007 and as a result \n39,502,509 ordinary shares of 50p each in Hansard were distributed to the \nshareholders of Polar Cap.\n\nThis notification relates to the remaining 39,506,668 shares in Hansard owned by\nPolar Cap. There has been no change in the underlying beneficial ownership in \nHansard's shares as a result of the distribution of shares held by Polar Cap to \nPolar Cap shareholders.
