Hannover House and Medallion Titles Lead Indie Studio Pack for Walmart Summer DVD Releases

Hannover House, Inc., (OTC: HHSE) and its Medallion Releasing multi-studio sales venture, have taken a prominent position at Walmart Stores, Inc., the nation's largest retailer of DVDs, with an impressive slate of titles now on sale and slated for summer placement.  DVD titles currently on sale, now shipping or committed for summer placement include (listed alphabetically):  American Justice, Asalto Al Cine, Brutal Colors, Estrenos De Accion, Estrenos Divertidos, Gabrielle, Grand Champion, Lazarus Papers, Love Beat the Hell Outta Me and On Angel’s Wings.  Hannover House and Medallion Releasing also have impressive line-ups of title commitments for September, October and November placement, including four summer theatrical releases and more than a dozen direct-to-video titles.

Sales of DVDs at Walmart represent over 50% of the total USA Marketshare of DVDs, according to Home Media Retailer, the video industry's leading trade publication. Hannover House titles are also currently on sale and placed at Target, Best Buy, Redbox and other major USA mass merchants and video retail outlets.

"It's unprecedented for one, independent studio supplier to have ten or more new release titles at the same time at Walmart," said Eric Parkinson, C.E.O.  "This has occurred in the budget bin category, but as far as we can tell, it has not ever happened for an independent label with new release modular placements.  This rate of successful retail placement is further evidence that the business plan of an enhanced release schedule is working for Hannover House and our supplier partners under Medallion Releasing," he concluded.

Principal home video retailers carrying Hannover House and Medallion Releasing DVD or Bluray titles include Best Buy, Redbox, SAMS, Target and Walmart Stores, Inc.  Hannover House also has an active and expanding presence as a theatrical distributor, with three titles slated for release in July, and one title each for theatrical release in August, September, October and November of this year.
