As broadcasters seek to enhance operational efficiency and scalability, the report identifies major trends shaping the future of live video contribution and production.\n \n\n\n Key findings from the 2025 Broadcast Transformation Report:\n \n\n\n\n\n SRT adoption soars, widening the gap with RTMP:\n \n SRT usage grew by 9%, rising from 68% in 2024 to 77% in 2025. It is the most widely used transport protocol among this year’s respondents, while RTMP, in second place, is used by 58%.\n \n\n\n\n Demand for efficiency fuels 5G usage:\n \n 76% of broadcasters using cellular networks now rely on 5G, with 21% planning adoption within a year.
