Sinclair will pay Syntopix a development contract fee to further develop combination formulations using Sinclair's delmopinol and some potentially synergistic anti-microbial compounds in to proof of concept development formulations. Upon conclusion of the development programme if any of the resultant formulations for oral health and other medical applications are commercialized, Syntopix will receive royalties.\n \nThis builds on an initial agreement between the companies announced in April 2010, to work together on the identification of an antimicrobial compound to synergise and augment the anti-biofilm activity of Sinclair's key ingredient already marketed as Decapinol®. \n \nDr Stephen Jones, CEO of Syntopix, says: \"I am delighted that the collaboration Syntopix and Sinclair embarked on in April has been a success.
