(EPL - TSX Venture, EGPLF - OTCBB_Pink_Sheets), has recently received a second cash payment and notification by Heemskirk Canada Ltd. that it has completed its Phase One review of the Coyote Creek gypsum project and intends to maintain its option to purchase a 100% interest in the property. If the option is exercised, Eagle Plains will receive a final cash payment and retain a production royalty for any material mined from the property. A permit is currently in place allowing for extraction of a 5,000 tonne bulk sample.The property consists of 1300 hectares acquired by Eagle Plains in 2001 by staking and holds no underlying royalties or encumbrances. The property is road-accessible with hydro-electric power and rail transportation located 24 km by existing road from property boundaries. The claims cover numerous gypsum occurrences hosted within the Burnais Formation. About Eagle PlainsEagle Plains continues to conduct research, acquire and explore metal projects in western Canada.
