[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 6735R Gulf Marine Services PLC 04 March 2019  \n\nGulf Marine Services PLC\n('Gulf Marine Services', 'GMS', the 'Company' or the 'Group')\n \nResponse to Statement by Seafox International Limited \n \nGulf Marine Services (LSE: GMS), the leading provider of advanced self-propelled self-elevating support vessels (SESVs) serving the offshore oil, gas and renewable energy sectors, provides the following update.\n \nThe Board of GMS notes the statement made by Seafox International Limited (\"Seafox\") on Friday 1st March 2019.  The Board believes that the Seafox statement contains numerous inaccuracies, displays a lack of understanding of GMS's business and contains nothing to suggest that the Seafox Nominees would be additive to the Company's governance.  The Board will be issuing a fuller response in due course.\n \nMore importantly, however, the Board and management team are continuing to focus on the detailed plan to address the Company's operational performance, its governance and capital structure as it works to rebuild value for all of our shareholders.  As part of this process we have consulted widely with our shareholders to take into account their views. We will provide further details of this plan to shareholders in the near future. \n \nIn the meantime, the Board continues to believe that the Seafox Requisition has caused unnecessary expense, uncertainty and disruption to the operations of the business at a critical time. The Board continues to recommend that Shareholders vote against all of the Seafox and Ithmar Resolutions at the EGM.\n\n- Ends -\n \nThis announcement contains inside information and is provided in accordance with the requirements of Article 17 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation.  \n\nJohn Brown\nCompany Secretary (responsible for arranging the release of this announcement)\nGulf Marine Services PLC\n04 March 2019\n \nEnquiries\nFor further information please contact: \n\n\n\n\nGulf Marine Services PLC \nDuncan Anderson \nJohn Brown\nTel: +971 (2) 5028888\nAnne Toomey\nTel: +44 (0) 1296 622736\n\n\n \n\n\n \nBrunswick   \nPatrick Handley - UK\nWill Medvei - UK\nTel: +44 (0) 20 7404 5959\nJade Mamarbachi - UAE \nTel: +971 (0) 50 600 3829\n \n\n\n\n\n&nbsp...
