Gartmore Monthly Income Tst PLC 11 December 2001 Announcement to the Stock Exchange GMIT SECURITIES PLC GMIT Securities PLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gartmore Monthly Income Trust PLC, which is managed by Gartmore Investment Limited. GMIT Securities PLC has today bought-in for cancellation 200,000 Zero Dividend Preference shares (Sedol 0560377) at a price of 97p per share. GMIT Securities PLC repurchased the shares pursuant to an authority given by Ordinary shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting on 7th November 2001.
