[{"type":"text","content":"Nickel Rock Resources Announces Preparation for 2021 Exploration Season\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n January 5, 2021\n \n \n -\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n Vancouver, BC, Canada -\n \n \n Nickel Rock Resources Inc.\n \n \n (“the Company”)\n \n \n TSXV:NICL\n \n \n ) (\n \n \n OTC:NIKLF\n \n \n )\n \n \n is pleased to announce that planning for our 2021\nexploration programs is underway for both our primary nickel\nexploration project 65 km east of Smithers BC as well as our lithium\nclaystone exploration program at Clayton Valley, Nevada.  Having\nrecently completed two financings totalling $1,520,000 the Company is\nwell funded to carry out the initial programs.\n \n \n Details of the exploration programs at our BC nickel project next to\nFPX Minerals Decar Project will be outlined in a NI 43-101 report\ncurrently being prepared.\n \n \n \n \n Clayton Valley Project\nExploration\n \n \n \n \n The Company has 100% title to 77 lithium placer claims\ncovering over 640 hectares in Clayton Valley, Nevada, which until\nrecently has been home to North America’s only producing lithium\nmine.   The Company’s Clayton Valley Project is both an early-stage\nlithium brine and a\n \n \n lithium\nclaystone\n \n \n prospect in Esmeralda County, Nevada.\n Plans are currently being drawn up for an exploration program\nbeginning early in 2021 with drilling being proposed.  This is a\nwell-located property contiguous and adjacent to the\n \n \n west side\n \n \n of the\nformerly producing Silver Peak Lithium Brine Mine and Processing\nFacility. Albemarle Corporation\n \n \n (NYSE:\nALB)\n \n \n purchased the mine as part of its\nacquisition of Rockwood Lithium that closed in early 2015. The United\nStates Geological Survey estimates that over 300 million pounds of\nlithium carbonate have been produced at this facility since\n1966.\n \n \n \n \n Exploration Potential\n \n \n \n \n The general structure of the producing area in the\nnorth part of the Clayton Valley basin is known from geophysical\nsurveys and drilling to be a graben structure with its most\ndown-dropped portion the east-northeast side of the valley (Zampirro,\n2004).\n \n \n \n \n A similar graben structure has been identified on the\nproperty of Nickel Rock Minerals in the north west part of the Clayton\nValley bas...
