[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nCALGARY, Dec. 19 /CNW/ - Goldstake Explorations Inc (Toronto Stock\nExchange. Symbol; GXP ) is pleased to issue an up-date on developments at its\nMcGarry, Ontario, Canada project. The main focus of the McGarry Project is\nGold, Copper and Diamonds.\n\n\nGold and Copper\n\n\n---------------\n\n\nThe property under exploration is situated approximately one mile from\nthe Kerr Addison mine shaft, which historically produced over 11 million\nounces of gold. Previous drilling by Goldstake resulted in multiple\n(previously announced) high grade gold intercepts the best of which assayed\n29.9 grams au per ton over 8.76 metres (28.5 ft), including 1078.97 grams per\nton (32 ounces per ton) over 0.19 metres (7 inches).\n\n\nCurrently several copper showings on the property are in the process of\nevaluation.\n\n\nDiamonds\n\n\n--------\n\n\nDuring the recent summer, 5 tons of bulk samples of \"lodgement till\" were\nexcavated and treated at Goldstake's gravity recovery plant located in\nSudbury, Ontario. A 100 kilogram heavy mineral concentrate produced by the\nplant was sent to C.F. Mineral Research Ltd. in Kelowna, B.C. and analyzed for\nkimberlite mineral grains. Results showed good numbers of : pyrope garnet,\nchrome diopside, picroilmenite, chromite and olivine. Additional bulk\nconcentrates were sent to diamond geologist, Robert Dillman of Mt. Brydges,\nOntario who also found similar concentrations of kimberlite minerals. Electron\nmicroprobe analysis of the kimberlite mineral chemistries determined the range\nof grain chemistries overlap with those associated with diamond and identified\nthe presence of eclogite minerals also akin to those occurring in diamond\neclogite in kimberlite.\n\n\nThe McGarry Project is supervised by Mr. Claude Jacques of Val D'or,\nQuebec. Mr. Dillman is acting as the Qualified Person in compliance to the\nterms of National Instrument 43-101 for the diamond exploration on the\nproperty and is responsible for the information in this report.\n\n\nTill sampling on the property this fall by Goldstake found two areas of\nkimberlite minerals which are dispersed in close proximity to 9 circular\nmagnetic features.\n\n\nThe current till sampling program should identify one or more of the\nmagnetic features under consideration as the possible source of these diamond\nindicator minerals and prioritize thes...
