[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n\n28 April 2011\n\n GREAT WESTERN MINING CORPORATION PLC\n\n TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE QUARTER ENDED 31 MARCH 2011\n\nGreat Western Mining Corporation plc (\"GWM or the \"Company\"), the Dublin based mineral exploration company\nwhich is prospecting for Gold, Silver, Copper, Uranium and other minerals over a 32sq km area in Nevada,\nannounces a quarterly trading statement in relation to the quarter ended 31 March 2011 (the \"Quarter\").\n\nDuring the Quarter, the Company raised gross proceeds of approximately £890,718 via a placing on 24 January\n2011 and gross proceeds of approximately £125,000 via a placing on 2 February 2011. The funds raised in\nthese share placings have enabled the Company to continue the implementation of its development programme\nin accordance with the revised Competent Person's Report produced in March 2010. Costs incurred in the\nQuarter, in relation to implementing the development programme, have been within the cost estimates\nindicated in the Competent Person's Report.\n\nThe Company can also report that a contract was placed in March 2011 with a geological surveying company to\nlode claim stake the targets indicated by the recently announced Aerial Magnetic and ASTER (Advanced\nSpaceborne Thermal Emission Reflectance Radiometer) geological surveys.
