[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n\n23 April 2010\n\n GREAT WESTERN MINING CORPORATION PLC\n\n TRADING STATEMENT\n\nGreat Western Mining Corp. plc (\"GWM\" or the \"Company\"), the Dublin-based mineral exploration\ncompany, announces a trading statement in relation to the quarter ended 31 March 2010 (the\n\"Quarter\").\n\nDuring the Quarter GWM completed a comprehensive surface (trenching, pits, adits and grab samples)\ntesting over land areas claim staked in November 2009. The announcement made on 26 March 2010\nmade reference to a total of some hundred test results, which are available for review on the\nCompany's website.\n\nAn update to the Competent Person's Report made by N.T. Cohan & Associates, Inc., Geological and\nEngineering Consultants, was completed during the Quarter. The update covers all of the 34 square\nkilometers of area under claim, including the one hundred test results mentioned above. Further\nannouncements regarding the update will be made as and when appropriate.\n\nThe recent costs associated with increasing the Company's area under licence in Nevada, sampling,\nlaboratory testing and updating the Competent Persons Report, have been met, according to the\nprogramme, with funds raised in October 2009. Further funding is now in the process of being\nraised, this will enable the recommendations of the Competent Persons Report to be initiated.
