BSM Technologies reports Seventh consecutive quarter of positive earnings, a 112% increase in fiscal Q1 2012

("BSM" or the "Company")  (TSX-V: GPS), a leading provider of remote monitoring, fleet management, fleet diagnostics and automated vehicle security systems today announced financial and operating results for the three-month period ended December 31, 2011.

Q1 fiscal 2012 Highlights (all amounts in thousands of Canadian dollars, except for per share or unit data):

• Seventh consecutive quarter of positive EBITDA: $145 represents a 112% increase over Q1 2011 EBITDA of $68.
  
  
• Adjusted EBITDA of $388 represents a 470% increase over Q1 2011 Adjusted EBITDA of $68.
  
  
• Fourth consecutive quarter of positive Net income: $90 represents a 203% improvement over Q1 2011 of net loss of $88.
  
  
• Improved gross margin to 64% from 57% in prior year.
  
  
• Cash from Operations of $274 are a $492 or 226% improvement over the prior year.
  
  
• Core Sentinel line recurring revenues of $1,291 for the quarter are a 30% increase over the prior year.
