(TSX-V GPG)\n("Grande Portage" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it recently\nreceived the results from 16.65 line km of 3-D Induced Polarization\nGeophysics. The IP survey outlined two semi-circular conductive bodies with\ncorresponding zones of resistivity in the northern and southern portions of\nthe grid that coalesce into a 500 metre to 800 metre wide (east-west) by 2000\nmetres long (north-south) chargeable body that is evident at 400 metres below\nsurface, the depth limit of the survey. The conductor is still open to depth\nto the north and south-southeast.\n\n\nThe grid was centered over a silt sample discovery made in 2006. The silt\nsampling program highlighted an area of multiple drainages reporting elevated\nnickel, copper, cobalt and chromium at an order of magnitude higher than\nresults from nearby streams. Subsequent prospecting in 2007 led to the\ndiscovery of a sulphide-bearing gabbroic body found in a streambed within an\narea ostensibly of andesitic to basaltic volcanics and limestone. Locally\nthere are mafic intrusive bodies present that have not been mapped at a\nregional scale.
